Monday 5 January, 19:30–21:00Location: Bibliotheek Utrecht Neude 11, 3512 AE, Utrecht, The Netherlands

You are invited to the opening of Home. Delivered., a newly commissioned exhibition by Radu-Mihai Tanasă, presented by Centrala at Bibliotheek Utrecht Neude.

The exhibition presents a film following a masked delivery courier during a work shift in Utrecht, transporting a large stone across the city. The journey offers a reflection on platform-based labour, irregular migration, and conditions of legal and economic precarity.

Shot in low resolution using an older Canon camera, the work moves between documentary and fiction. An internal monologue accompanies the courier’s route, addressing the routines and pressures of precarious work.

The opening marks the launch of the exhibition as part of the I-Claim research project, which examines the living and working conditions of irregularised migrant households in Europe. The exhibition is developed in dialogue with research by Ilse van Liempt and Minke Hajer at Utrecht University on irregular migrants in the Dutch food delivery sector.

The evening offers the opportunity to view the installation and engage with the wider research context surrounding migration, labour, and visibility in contemporary cities. All are welcome.
